Show More >>Thousands of Lebanese have held a fresh anti-government rally in the capital Beirut. Demonstrators called on authorities to end the country’s economic problems. They demanded the rapid formation of a new government and the immediate removal of Lebanon’s entire political class. The protests erupted on October 17th and forced Prime Minister Sa’ad al-Hariri to resign. On Saturday, Lebanon’s President Michel Aoun said he will soon set a date for formal consultations with lawmakers to pick a new premier.
